Bucks on the Bay

Weekends · 3 to 6 tinnies

Yes, it's a crab joke. It's also the best bucks', hens' or work-team morning in north Brisbane. Three to six tinnies race to fill their pots, Bec referees from Col's Tinnie, and the biggest legal buck wins the trophy: a spray-painted crab claw on a stubby holder. Then it's a pontoon cook-up.

Duration4 hrs
Group8–20
Pricefrom $120 pp
  • Skipper-referee and safety boat on the water
  • Weigh-in, gauge-off and a trophy that's genuinely awful
  • Pontoon cook-up. BYO drinks for after (not before)
